Maloof High Ollie Challenge: Las Vegas

Last month I qualified for the Maloof High Ollie Challenge that was held at the MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas. The first day consisted of 40 competitors. Most of which were Pros or AMs which made it pretty intimidating at first. Everyone was pretty cool and made it a lot easier to get into a groove and forget about everything else. . . Ended up being 1 of 14 skaters to make it to the Finals the following day. After all was said and done, I got out at 41 inches and managed to get 5th place. (not bad for being a "nobody" in the contest) The world record was set moments later by Aldrin Garcia a ridiculous 45 inches.
